About the Band:
Come join this Swingin’ dance floor with the silky and smooth sounds of Taryn Newborne and the Real Deal. Born in Memphis and raised in Atlanta, vocalist Taryn Newborne is rooted deeply in the soil of a rich musical heritage. She has often said that she loves music so much, it hurts her feelings. After years of dancing in her local Lindy Hop scene, Newborne created Taryn Newborne and The Real Deal. Since then, Taryn has guest appearances with The Glenn Miller Orchestra, Michael Gamble and the Rhythm Serenaders, Paul Cosentino and the Boilermakers, Falty and the Defects, Gordon Webster. Event appearances include International Lindy Hop Championships, Beantown Lindy Hop Camp, Atlanta Lindy Exchange, Backwater Blues, Holy City Blues Exchange, Lindy Fest and many more.
Comprised of some of the most sought after musicians in the world, Taryn Newborne and the Real Deal strives to keep the dance floor swinging as hard as possible.
