About the Event:

TSDS dance parties are your source for community, connection, and a little magic.

The Riffers are a swing band specializing in original music and tight arrangements from the 1930s and 1940s. The band's distinctive sound was originally developed for McKenzie’s debut album, Forged in Rhythm. Since then, they have performed all over the country, from Durham to San Fran.

The group offers a mix of unique big band reductions and swing-era combo tunes, all with a focus on energy and rhythm. ​They love to play for dancers and we know you are going to love them back!

All of our dances are for any experience level, including complete novice.You don’t need to bring a partner either - dance partners rotate throughout the night.

Learn and Dance:

7 pm - 8PM - Introductory Lesson
8 pm - 11PM - Open dance floor with live music

Cost:

$18 non-members/$14 members + $2 Service Fee. Online pre-sales only. No at-the-door sales. Limited capacity.
